Harte’s Bar & Grill

At Harte’s we have an extensive menu which will, we believe, satisfy all tastes. We are renowned for our ‘Steak on the Stone’ cooking style, which, allows the customer to cook their steak at their table. Add our vegetables, sourced from local artisan producers, our menu is sure to have something for everyone.

As well as having the restaurant beautifully refurbished by EMS Design, Harte’s boasts the most intimate bar in Kildare Town with the largest selection of beers and cocktails.

The exterior is bright and inviting with a well maintained shop front enhanced by original signage and well tended flower boxes for extra life and colour. Although the windows are dressed with Victorian stained glass screens enough is left to view the old world charm that exudes from within.

Inside the pub is testament to all that is unique in an Irish pub. It is dimly lit with a large open fire and full of nooks and crannys where intimate conversations may be held in private. Indeed “Guinness and Co” recognised this special atmosphere when choosing Cunninghams as their location for their “Christmas 2005″ poster campaign.

As one reporter summed it up “Cunningham’s is the type of place where you go to meet family and friends when you return to the old sod for your Christmas Holidays“. Indeed our greatest accolade to date has to be our exclusive award for “Local Bar of the year” atThe Licensing World Bar Awards.

Our extensive “Thairish” Irish and Thai menues have been carefully created by our in house Thai and Irish Chefs led by Head Chef Damain Doyle who has many years of creating food delights under his belt, so if you are looking for hearty comfort food to be enjoyed by the fire or want to go further afield and sample Thai cuisine at its best, Cunningham’s is the spot.
